Session Overview

This panel will discuss the platform for wireless health inside and outside the hospital. The panel will explore the over-arching Policy needed to implement, monitor, and govern the use of wireless devices and solutions in and out of the hospital. 

Session Objectives

• Digital wireless infrastructure needed to ensure the appropriate level of assurance for each grade and type of wireless service.  
• Understand wireless operability and co-existence along with the expectation of device interoperability.  
• Assess methodology for test and certification of wireless devices and solutions along with medical device security and safety.
• Understand potential for wireless to keep patients connected outside the hospital via Technology Enabled Care Coordination.
