Session Overview
Do mobile applications and social media impact engagement and management of individual’s own health? One of the ways to create a sustainable health care system is to engage consumers, health care providers and employers with intelligent health tools to align their interests through mobile technologies. This session will explore how people’s engagement with mobile applications and social media is starting to impact engagement, management and healthy actions. The panelists will share examples of advances that provide robust information, consumer and corporate reimbursement models, and tying social media to mobile health solutions that get people engaged in rich capabilities that provoke better consumer-oriented decisions.
