Evidence Matters: mHealth Evidence Status and Approaches

Session Overview

This session will be hosted by the mHealth Alliance Evidence Working Group.  It will provide an overview of the status of evidence surrounding mHealth, and offer multidimensional perspectives on actionable pathways to improving the quality and quantity of this evidence. Particular emphasis will be placed on work being done in low- and middle-income countries. 

Session Objectives

• Provide a forum where major mHealth players can outline their perspectives on role of evidence in mHealth.
• Highlight status of mHealth evidence, major initiatives underway to enhance the evidence base, and the existing evidence gaps.
• Discuss actionable steps for building a robust and accessible evidence base for mHealth.
