Health Workforce

For every 10,000 people there are 8,429 mobiles globally but only 14 doctors. mHealth provides an opportunity to facilitate capacity building, educate health workers, and close workforce gaps.  Panelists will discuss their experiences with mobile phone-enabled training programs, task shifting, and remote monitoring and diagnosis as ways to increase the overall capacity of the health system in resource-constrained environments.
