Evaluating Mobile Health

“Does it work?” has different meanings for different mobile health disciplines.  This session is designed to provide those from other disciplines (technology, business, policy, clinical practice) what healthcare researchers mean when they ask this question.  

 

The session will give an overview of research methods that can be incorporated throughout the development and commercialization process.  The essentials of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) will be presented, but the focus will be on other methods and designs that can be used to efficiently evaluate mobile health interventions throughout the development and commercialization lifecycle.
